You can use the same trick with fruit also. Freeze grapes or cherries and it will be a whole different experience.

Fruits and veggies increase volume and decreases calorie density. When you have got 5 minutes and a knife, just cut your apple up and mix it with some chopped walnuts and a teaspoon or two of maple syrup (yes, it is as delicious as it sounds). Or else eat it with a tablespoon of peanut butter.

Oatmeal:

Not only is it healthy and low calorie, but  its high in fiber which keeps you feeling fuller longer! Oatmeal has a special type of antioxidant called avenanthramide. Avenanthramides fight off free radicals that attack high-density lipoproteins, or HDL, which is known as the good cholesterol. Yep, so go make some tasty oatmeal and add a little fruit for the added health benefits and well, just because fruit is delicious!

Frozen Juice Bars:

Unwrap a frozen juice bar and you can practically hear the ice cream truck rounding the corner. They are sweet and tangy, anything frozen takes longer to eat. They have just a few calories and even got some vitamins also.  This might not be 100% healthy, but its quick and on the go and guess what? Kids love ’em!
