The Alkaline Anti-Aging Smoothie
Serves 2
Ingredients
- 1/2 avocado
- 2 tbsp cacao
- 1 tbsp coconut oil (if you can’t tolerate this, use MCT Oil, or MCT Oil Powder)
- 200ml coconut milk
- 200ml coconut water
- 1 handful spinach
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 4-6 walnuts
Instructions
- Really simple! Just add all of the ingredients to your blender and blend till smooth!
- You can add a little more coconut water rather than coconut milk if you want it thinner and sweeter. Also, the cacao is quite bitter, so you can lower the cacao amount.
Notes:
- You can also add a little stevia or monk fruit for added sweetness.
- Because cacao is bitter, if you find this smoothie too strong, just add a few pitted dates to sweeten it up a bit.
- If you want it thicker, don’t add as much coconut water!
