When it comes to exercise and healthier living, most of us want it to come easily and that definitely is not the case. It’s important that when you start this journey to become consistent.

Whenever consistency happens for a longer period of time, habits form.  Making exercise a habit will help you in the long run with your fitness and weight loss goals.

Let’s look at some ways to help turn exercise in to a habit for you.

Write It Down

Yes, this has been told to us time and time again. If you write down your goals and get specific, this puts it in to perspective for you.  It allows you to be realistic, but at the same time you can push yourself.  I know for me, seeing it on paper and keeping it in front of me helps me to hold myself accountable. And now that brings me to the next one….

Be Accountable

Your weight loss, your exercise, your life its all about you.  Sure things can happen and everything doesn’t go according to plan, but you should remember that you make your decisions.  When you accept that you’re responsible for you, you’ll be able to move forward.  This is really important because we try to blame actions, thoughts, habits on others and while they could be factors in it, ultimately you make your own decisions.

Use Others To Help

Having others to help you with accountability will help you be successful. It doesn’t have to be someone close by if you don’t have friends in your area. It could be through blogging, it could be a friend in another state that you talk to every week or your spouse if you want.

You just need someone who’s going to push you, motivate you and be a positive support system.  You definitely don’t want to choose someone who could potentially bring you down because that wouldn’t be effective for making working out a habit.

Log Your Activities

If you want to create this exercise habit, you need to write down when you exercise, what you are doing and what you are eating.  If you don’t take the time to reflect on what you’re doing, you won’t know what is going well and what’s not going so well.  This is different from writing your goals down, this is about logging in a journal the good, the bad and the ugly so you can give yourself praise or learn what to do better next time.

These are just a few tips on how exercise can become a habit.  We would love to hear some other great tips on what helped you make exercise a habit for you?

Get the benefit of a 1 hour workout in just 10 minutes!

The DKN Vibration Trainer helps accelerate weight loss and achieve a more toned body. The appearance of cellulite is controlled, which leaves you with smoother and tighter skin. Other benefits include improved balance, strength, flexibility and endurance, increased energy levels, better mental focus, and improved sleeping habits.

DKN Vibration Trainers are widely used in homes, physical therapy, rehabilitation, gyms and professional sports. Without having a 30-minute workout and a 30-minute massage, you can achieve the same results in less than 15 minutes while standing still and watching TV!

Similar to a massage or workout, a whole body vibration exercise machine helps improve blood circulation and enhances lymphatic function. When the lymphatic system gets blocked, it fails to eliminate toxins that can cause depression, fatigue, and chronic health problems like joint and muscular pain.

Proper lymphatic drainage prevents the accumulation of harmful toxins in the body’s systems and increases the production of good hormones, including endorphins, serotonin, and collagen, and helps improve flexibility and range of motion. This reduces stress and physical pain while achieving a slimmer and tighter body.
