So May is the month of physical fitness and while we always are wanting to be healthier and active, its always nice to have that reminder of why we should be getting fit and some fun fitness tips that will aid in the process.
It’s always nice to get refocused and committed to yourself again when it comes to fitness, so let’s take a look at some awesome fitness tips to get you where you need to be!

- Bored with working out? That’s okay, we get that way sometimes too! Dancing is an easy and fun form of exercise that can improve cardiovascular fitness just like any other more formal type of exercise.  Plus who doesn’t like rocking out to their favorite music while getting a little booty shaking in.  We know we do!
- Move around, keep your blood flowing! Why? Because once you actually start working out, you’ll experience less stress in every part of your life.  We all deal with stress from work, health, family, kids or whatever is stressing you out.  Imagine getting a little of the edge off with just doing 30 minutes of exercise each day?  You would feel so much better!
- Of course, one of the most obvious ones – drink water! Water helps to speed up your metabolism and it keeps you hydrated which helps you lose weight! Plus, who doesn’t feel good after drinking a delicious ice cold glass of water?
- Feeling a bit foggier? A little slower? Guess what? Exercise boosts your brainpower! “Exercise increases energy levels and increases serotonin in the brain, which leads to improved mental clarity,” says Atkinson, director of program development for Cooper Ventures, a division of the Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas.
- Not working out regularly? Uh oh! Â Did you know that our bodies are creatures of habit. The more you exercise, the more your body learns to burn fat rather than storing it. I bet you want to go for a walk now!
